Search and product recommendations

Our store uses Zhara AI Search & Discovery, provided by Zhara Labs, to power product search and recommendations. When you search our store or see recommended products, Zhara processes the following information on our behalf: the search terms you enter, the products you click, add to cart and buy, your device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), and a random identifier stored in your browser. If you are signed in to your account and have given consent, Zhara also receives your customer ID so that recommendations work across your devices. Zhara does not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address or payment details.

Zhara uses this information only to provide search, recommendations and analytics to us. It does not sell your information or use it for advertising. To understand what you are searching for, search terms and product details are processed by Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service. Analytics and personalization run only if you allow them through our cookie banner.

Zhara keeps search and interaction data for up to 13 months, and order attribution records for up to 25 months. If we stop using Zhara, it deletes our store’s data within 30 days. To access or delete your information, contact us at [your store’s contact email], and we will work with Zhara to respond. You can read Zhara’s privacy policy at https://zhara.io/privacy/.

Add it to your store

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings → Policies.
  2. Open Privacy policy and paste the text into a new section.
  3. Replace the highlighted contact email with your own, then click Save.

Zhara reads your shoppers’ choices through Shopify’s Customer Privacy API, so analytics and personalization only run when they are allowed. Where the law requires consent, turn on Shopify’s built-in banner in Settings → Customer privacy.
